According to an airport spokesman, passengers were safely evacuated after an Air Canada jet made an emergency landing at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport Thursday. The spokesman said in statement that the plane landed after its crew reported seeing light smoke inside the cabin on the plane's scheduled flight to Seattle from Calgary. The spokesman, Perry Cooper, went on to say that all passengers were evacuated by the airport's fire department as a precaution and no injuries were reported. Officials say the cause of the smoke in the plane is currently under investigation.
