USa Today reported on Tuesday that actor Michelle Williams was paid less than one percent of her male co-star Mark Wahlberg’s salary for re-shoots for the film “All the Money in The World.” The pay disparity happened because the director, Ridley Scott, wanted to fight sexual misconduct by replacing Kevin Spacey with Christopher Plummer after Spacey had been accused of harassment and assault. Wahlberg was reportedly paid 1.5 million dollars for the reshoots while Williams made less than 1,000 dollars. Women in Hollywood have been speaking out recently against sexual harassment and the pay gap between male and female actors. The highest paid man in Hollywood makes 42 million more than the top paid actress.
