Donald Trump's administration says it will delay moves to reform the nation’s biofuel policy for around three months. The move comes after Trump failed to broker a deal between Oil and Corn producing executives during recent meetings about the future of the U.S. Renewable Fuel Standard. The law, which is broadly supported in the U.S. heartland, requires oil refiners to add biofuels like ethanol to the nation’s gasoline. Referring to worries in the agriculture industry about an escalating trade dispute between the U.S. and China that could hurt U.S. commodity exports, a White House Official said Tuesday, "There’s just a lot going on right now, so they decided to take a pause and revisit in three months."
