According to Gizmodo, "Last month, a fireball lit up the skies over Botswana just hours after scientists first spotted the space rock hurtling toward Earth. Researchers from Botswana, South Africa, Finland, and the United States have now found pieces of the meteorite." They discovered the asteroid is six-foot-wide and they've named it 2018 LA. They are currently researching the fragments to find out what the asteroid is made of. They hope their research will help cultivate the future of asteroid minding and deflecting.
