According to Business Insider, Nikki Haley, the US ambassador to the United Nations, shot down speculations of a possible presidential run while announcing her resignation on Tuesday. Haley, a rising star in the Republican Party, first made national headlines in 2015 as South Carolina's governor with her decision to take down the Confederate flag from the South Carolina Statehouse.
