According to, Orlando Apollos linebacker Ryan Davis Sr. had to exit his game on Sunday on a stretcher. Davis suffered an injury to his head and neck during the first half of his team’s game against the San Antonio Commanders. The injury occurred as Davis was blitzing the Commanders’ quarterback. San Antonio’s tackle gave another player a shove which coincided with the Orlando linebacker Earl Okine getting around his blocker. This led to the two players colliding with one another. Okine was able to eventually get up on his own, but Davis required more medical attention and was taken out of the game.
