‘Daily Show’ Correspondent Desi Lydic To Have Special On Gender Equality

According to UPROXX, Desi Lydic joined “The Daily Show” as a correspondent in 2015. Since then she ha grown as a comedian and will have a new hour special about gender equality. “Desi Lydic: Abroad” will look at the World Economic Forum’s decision to rank the U.S. 49th in its 2017 Global Gender Gap Report. Working with her is largely an all-female team of producers and head writer Lauren Sarver Means. Lydic said it’s important to have diversity in the creative team because you’re able to reach a wider audience.
