Reuters reports hundreds more Americans have been sickened by a severe vaping-related illness. Officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say the official tally is set to be updated on Thursday. The House of Representatives began public hearings this week about the mystery vaping-related lung disease. As of last week, 530 people in 38 states have been sickened. Nine have died. We believe that probably hundreds more cases have come in since the numbers we released last week. Anne Schuchat, Principal Deputy Director Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
