It's been three years since Prince's death and 40 years since the singer's self-titled second album. Thankfully the musician's estate is marking the time by sharing unreleased music. On Thursday they released the acoustic demo of Prince's "I Feel For You," originally made in 1978/79. CNN says it was released as "a limited 7-inch vinyl with the acoustic version on the A-side, and the original studio recording on the B-side." Prince's estate says that the recording "captures a 20-year-old Prince in a raw, intimate moment, and begins with the sound of the artist pressing the record button on a cassette tape recorder and picking up the acoustic guitar..." Although "I Feel For You" was made prior to Prince making his solo debut in North Minneapolis, Chaka Khan's version won two Grammys, including an award that honored Prince as a songwriter.
