Research shows that adopting a healthy eating plan one can stick to for life is a better tactic than yo-yo dieting. Nevertheless, people are always intrigued by the latest strategy for losing weight in a hurry. Business Insider reports Google recently released its "Year in Search Trends" for 2019. As can be expected, diets in general were a hot topic. Specifically, intermittent fasting, i.e. skipping breakfast, was extraordinarily popular. Plant-based diets and cutting out sugar and carbs also neared the top of the list. However, the once-popular keto and carnivore diets have fallen off of the popular trends.
